Activity: “Try to Get an Ant Lost”
Supplies:
Ant Bait (Food Source)

In the activity, you will have students watch as you try to confuse an ant. First, place out a food source and watch the ants move in single file line from the ant hill to the food source and back. Next, place a cotton ball in the path and have the students draw the route that they take. Then, add another obstacle to their path, a pencil, and have the students again trace what they see. Finally, remove all obstructions and have the students trace what they see n the end.
